Blind Casts Lands Netflix Original
*EDIT* THIS WAS AN APRIL FOOLS PLOY- That worked a bit too well
I could not be more stoked for this opportunity, Netflix has done some amazing things with original series, and I think Blind Casts will be no different.
Since the addition of Lindner's Fishing Edge to Netflix, they have noticed the undeniable success of outdoor shows in today's world. With that, they have reached out to myself, asking if Blind Casts would be interested in their own original series.

Thankfully, they also see the value in letting myself determine the locations and guides. A freedom I never dreamt of having with such a large corporation.
Filming will start right away this April for north shore Lake Ontario steelhead.
After that, I hope to return to Washington for their unique tiger muskie fishery, and of course film once again with Muskie Dave; only this time having a realistic time frame to land one.
Following these I am leaving the rest of the filming locations a surprise for obvious reasons.

I am over the moon excited for all of this, and the opportunities this will open up for Blind Casts, and inevitably for the fishing world, as I'm sure more original series will follow in it's footsteps.
Thank you so much to everyone for their support and guidance through the last year, I can't express how much it has meant to me.
See you on the flip side folks,
Alyssa
